Justin Bieber denies allegations of fathering a child and explains he’s never even met Maria Yeater in a brief appearance on NBC’s Today show. Friday morning on the Today show, Justin Bieber told Matt Lauer:
“I’d just like to say basically that none of those allegations are true, I know that I’m going to be a target, but I’m never going to be a victim.”
Bieber went on to set the record straight:
“It’s crazy, every night after the show I’ve gone right from the stage right to my car, so it’s crazy that some people want to make up such false allegations. To set the record straight, none of it is true.”
When Lauer asked, “Do you know this woman? Her name is Mariah Yeater?”
Bieber answered without hesitation, “Never met the woman.”
Justin Bieber was on the Today show to promote his new Christmas album Under the Mistletoe. Bieber discussed charities he’s involved in, recording the Christmas album after his voice changed, and announced a return to the Today show for a performance set on November 23rd.
